SCORE volunteers come from all backgrounds, ages and business expertise.  SCORE uses a  team approach to complete a common goal: to help small business succeed.

SCORE Central Pennsylvania Chapter is always looking for community-conscious individuals who enjoy learning, problem-solving business challenges and sharing their knowledge with emerging and in-business entrepreneurs.

Nationwide over 12,000 men and women, retired and working, donate their time and talent to assist entrepreneurs. At nearly 400 SCORE offices nationwide, volunteers provide confidential one-to-one and team business counseling, phone, email, and on-line counseling, low-cost entrepreneurial training workshops and seminars.

As a SCORE volunteer, you can:

• Be a leader in the effort to provide assistance to small businesses.

• Make a difference!

• Serve as either a counselor or resource (non-counseling) person in our SCORE Chapter.

• Gain fulfillment by sharing your business experience and expertise with a new generation of entrepreneurs.

• Build relationships with local business leaders to provide economic growth and employment opportunities in the local area.

• Connect with entrepreneurs though counseling, or share your knowledge at training workshops.

• Enjoy a fellowship with like-minded SCORE volunteers.

• You do not have be "retired person"to be a SCORE member.

• College students are welcome to join. Gain business experience working with a SCORE mentor.

• Your expertise as a SCORE Member can help the chapter grow its services through team counseling and more diversied business backgrounds.
